Sargent One Act had an amazing year and brought home the District D2-2 District Runner-up trophy with their performance of a Bright, Clear Sky.
Sargent had 6 actors receive Superior Acting Awards, with Carsen Vincent receiving one of two Best Performers on the day! Carsen also won 1 of 2 Best Performers of the day at MNAC in Merna.
Superior acting awards also went to:
Kooper Keefe, TJ Horky, LoReena Schauda, Corbin Bye, and Travin Schauda.
Our Dinner theater was held the night before Districts, and the author of our play, Kristina Halsvorson, made the journey from Minnesota with her daughter, Ingrid, just to watch our live performance. (see picture)
Sargent has a rich tradition of holding a Dinner Theater for the public, and they match the menu to the play. (*note: ask me for past menus if you would like). This year's menu was a potato bar, as the main plot of the play was about families that nearly starved to death and had only potatoes to eat until they ran out of food.
